Jeanne Alyea, 80, passed away at home in the loving arms of her husband Tom and her daughter Lani, February 28,2010.

Born on March 8, 1929, raised in Tulsa, married February 19, 1949. Talented in painting, writing, singing, acting, and stage set designer. Being on stage, whether acting or singing, she beamed.

Jeanne never met a stranger. When Jeanne entered a room, her charisma turned a gathering into a party. Always smiling and laughing. She looked at life as a precious gift and experienced new things with the wonder of a child. She had a devoted interest in animals and supported the charity of animal aid. Jeanne's life was devoted to her family and friends. Her home was the congregating location for all the neighborhood kids and they still call her "Mom". Survived by husband Tom, daughter Lani, and many close friends. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at Moore's Southlawn 663-2233 on Saturday, March 6,2010 at 2:00 pm.
