Abraham Jr.- Louis, 81 beloved husband, devoted father, adored grandfather and greatfather, and loyal friend to many, died November 22, 2008 in Tulsa, OK. Born December 26, 1926 in Bristow, OK to Louis Abraham and Elizabeth Payne Abraham. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Luanda Montgomery Dosser. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dolores; son Louis (Trey) Abraham III; daughter Jill Bums and husband, Bill; son and daughter from his blended family Brett Lay and Kimberly Hak and husband, David; twelve wonderful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also loved and cared for are Lisa Abraham, Bobbi Lay, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lou attended Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Lou was a man loved by everyone, especially his family, and their love did not come undeserved. He was there for them in good times or bad with unconditional love and support. His friends were countless. Lou always thought the best of everyone, was not judgmental, and formed his opinions without bias. Lou earned the respect of his partners, employees, and competitors. This came from years of hard work, intelligence, exceptional business knowledge, and fairness. His first desire in life was for those around him to be successful and secure; this brought him true happiness. Besides his family he had two other joys in his life: the first being his business, Jarboe Sales Company, where he started as a salesman and rose to be managing partner, retiring after nearly 50 years; the second was playing golf and cards with his buddies at Cedar Ridge Country Club. Lou and Dolores traveled allover the world with their dear friends Moon and Joe Hamra, and sister- and brother-in-law Wyvonna and Charles Thompson. He truly lived life, and his values will continue to live on through his family. They looked to him for guidance, and believed him when he said, "I know what is best for everyone."
Visitation and viewing will be Tuesday, 6-8PM. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, 2PM- Moore Funeral Home, South Lawn. Contributions may be made in his honor to the Assistance League of Tulsa for Operation School Bell, or the charity of your choice. Moore's Southlawn 663-2233 share memories at
