Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery
Funeral service for Chelsea resident, Clinton Thomas Aaron, will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2005, at the First Baptist Church of Chelsea, with Rev. Gerald Biswell officiating. Burial will follow in Chelsea Cemetery under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1-8 p.m.
The son of Claude and Hettie (Vaughn) Aaron was born July 27, 1920, in Haskell, TX. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at the age of 85.
Clinton moved from Haskell, TX to Tulsa at the age of 20, and later made Chelsea his home. He worked as a plumber, and also was employed by Douglas Aircraft. He was a member of the Plumber's Union and the First Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School Superintendant. He enjoyed working outdoors, raising cattle and fishing. He also was a little league coach and coin collector.
On June 26, 1943, Clinton married Betty June Schmoll in Sapulpa. Two sons were added to this union.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Family members surviving are his wife, Betty of the home, sons: Gary Thomas Aaron of Tulsa, and Mark Clinton Aaron and wife Linda of Philadelphia, PA, grandchildren: Angela Atalee Zarzycki and Andrew Marcus Aaron, both of Philadelphia, great-grandchildren: Peyton Edward Zarzycki and Palmer Clinton Zarzycki, both of Philadelphia, sister: Lula Belle Johnson of Mission, TX, and many friends and loved ones.
